What pictures and messages do you see when you open up your feed? Mine used to be filled with accounts that made me feel bad about myself, “less than” and unmotivated. After cleansing my following, I’m happy to say that social media can be a great tool. Social media should enhance your life, either by maximizing conveniency, improving efficiency and productivity, connecting you with others, and/or providing insight and inspiration. I’ve created this list that includes some of, but not all, my favorite accounts to follow. I’m subscribed & if you value great content that does all of the above ^ then you may want to, too!
- Paige Harker
Paige is one of my favorites because she consistently provides high quality posts relating to a large audience. She writes about travel, beauty, wellness & nutrition/recipes. Just about everything I’ve read so far communicates her genuine passion for sharing & desire to HELP others in any way. It’s clear that she has grown her accounts organically and doesn’t seek attention. Both her Instagram and her site are aesthetically pleasing & tasteful. She also posts low calorie alcoholic drinks and yah girl can get down with that!
- Brittany Lesser
Podcast: The Female Perspective
This girl is a bundle of joy, and she’s pregnant! Her vibe is full of positivity & her persona is naturally communicated to the audience. She keeps it real, and discusses topics that others may consider off limits or inappropriate. She’s open and honest and that makes it all the more enjoyable. For example, she often talks about pregnancy, the ugly truths, sex life & more. She has a kick ass sense of humor, is intelligent and thorough with her informational posts, and relatable.
- Lauren Bondi
This one is for those who enjoy self reflection and exploring the depth of our thoughts. Her audience can expect posts possibly involving self love, intention, awakening, healing, awareness, holistic health & plant based nutrition, fitness, travel and more. Every post adds value & forces us to dig deeper.
- Angelica Mia Davis
I definitely consider myself a little bias here, but Angie is GREAT. She’s the whole package of perfection in one human. I literally question her entire being because it shouldn’t be possible, but it is. Like myself, she is an Army soldier. She has a lot of variety in her content: beauty, fashion, Army life, college/student tips & tricks, and more.
- Amanda Jean
As you can guess after seeing her site name, she’s a fit girl, but she’s not JUST a fit girl. She’s a business woman, a wellness coordinator, a bikini competitor, a wife, and a content creator. She’s also a new blogger that I believe will continue to progress at a constant rate. I’ve heard a lot of her pitches & ideas; if you want to learn & grow, mentally as well as physically, she’s your girl.
- Valentina Esteban
Youtube: Valentina Esteban
Valentina may be listed as 6th but she’s probably my all time favorite. She shares her journeys and has the most loving, compassionate & humble heart’s. There aren’t enough good words to describe her & as soon as you click her profile or watch a video, you will know what I’m talking about.
- Jorge Rosado
Youtube: Jorge Rosado
Finally, a male on the list! Jorge is a genuinely good human. He’s intuitive, intelligent and caring. A great deal of his content revolves around fitness, proper form & lifting techniques and informational guides. In addition to this, he shares random pieces of his life and what he learns on his path to physical, mental and spiritual growth. He talks about relationships, perspective and even shares his playlists (which are fire).
- Brendant Lund
Another male, and a very deserving account. This guy is young, but he’s wise as hell. You may have seen his signature pose on the gram, which is a person holding a donut in front of their face. It’s actually got a pretty significant meaning, but I’ll let you get to the bottom of that yourself. He doesn’t have a blog, because his account IS his blog. His captions are his posts, and they are beyond worth the time it takes to read them. He’s also extremely insightful and all of his posts aim to get you to open your eyes to the world around you, to yourself and to the possibilities.
- Kelly U
Youtube: Kelly U
For all of us who have or are currently struggling with self love, body positivity or our relationship with food, Kelly is an angel. She made the decision to share her journey, and has since dedicated herself to connecting, empowering and helping others. She puts it all out there & her words/actions are powerful. She’s a beautiful soul.
- Hana DeVore
Hana’s account is primarily fitness & nutrition, but she’s hilarious and she doesn’t hesitate to call people out on their BS (think Fit Tea, waist wraps, sell-outs, etc). She’s opinionated and well informed. The content she puts out is beyond helpful & I find myself implementing many of her tips and tricks into my own life.
There are SO MANY great accounts out there. I have a lot of podcast, YouTube, Instagram and blogger accounts that I love to see on my feed and will gladly recommend, so if this is something you’d like to see more of, comment & let me know. And if you have recommendations that I should check out or add, please share 🙂
